I study Entertainment Arts and Compositing at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. I love telling stories through VFX and 3D, doing things I can't in the real world.
I love making things on the big screen that can't happen in the normal world. This is a collection of recent VFX stuff I've been working on:
I created this awesome simulation in Houdini.
I created this scene in Embergen, Blender Cycles and Nuke.
I created this in After Effects and Blender.
I created this in Adobe After Effects.
I also love making stuff in 3d. Here are some of the projects I'm proudest of!
Old West Revolver
Inspired by cowboy movies, I made this old west revolver. Modeled in Maya and simulated in Embergen. Rendered in Unreal.

A.D.O.R.O. R.O.H.D.I.E Robo-Roller
This is my most recent project, the A.D.O.R.O. R.O.H.D.I.E. (Remotely Operated Hazard and Dangerous Item Extractor) I had a blast working on this guy. I learned so much about the industry pipeline, and I'm super excited to use it to create more cool stuff in the future!
Initial concept by Joe Comeau.

Jake's Stylized(ish) Siege Tower
Alright, this is my siege tower, it's sort-of stylized, because I wanted to explore making it look realistic, in miniature scale. I again really enjoyed using painter during this project, I learned a lot about how to use the software, as well as stylistic choices.

I'd love to work with you! Please reach out to me however you'd like.
A revolver I made in Maya, Embergen and Unreal.
